Teacher Appreciation Week!!!

The Big Give SA

Dear SST Friends and Families,
This year, the School of Science and Technology will participate in the Big Give SA for the second time. The Big Give SA is one day (May 3) of online giving for San Antonio area non-profit organizations. This means that you will be able to make a donation to SST and your donations may trigger additional cash prizes from various sponsoring organizations. Money raised during this event will be put into the SST Activity Fund in order to be used for activities such as field trips, educational materials for SST students. Every donation helps and every donation helps us to receive additional prize money. Please post the link below in any social media that you use in order to get the word out that SST is participating in the Big Give SA and needs the support of the community.

Help us fund our mission of a better education and thus a better future for every SST student on May 3 with the Big Give SA. Your donations will go directly to funding fun, rewarding, and educational activities for SST students. The link below will take you directly to the SST page on the Big Give SA website.

SST students impressed U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith

Mr. Smith (R-San Antonio) walked onto the School of Science and Technology (SST) campus Tuesday Feb. 16th, he found a very well-researched group of students waiting for him.

U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith presented our school with a certificate commemorating the entry into the Congressional Record in honor of the SST’s 10th anniversary.

Please read the full article on Rivard Report.

SST Academic team has prepared a resource site called Parent Connect to provide information on the concepts taught for each subject during each grading period, a list of resources for the course including online access for some materials, as well as other online resources that can enhance your child`s learning at home.

We hope that the site will be helpful to you as you support your child`s academic growth. We encourage you to talk with your child`s teacher and campus admin if you have any questions.

To access to the resouce site, please click on the Parent Connect icon on the right side of the web page.

We are pleased to announce a new app for parent/guardians to keep track of their student's progress. This new app is called SIMS DATABASE.
