Thank you so much for all yo have done for my child Sebastian, he loves the school and were so excited hes going back next school year. I made the best decision to put my child in this school. The teachers and administration have done a fabulous job in caring for each and every students success in school. Thank you Thank you!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful breakfast with my children! It was very enjoyable getting to know the administration better also. Thanks for caring. Sabrina Goley

First of all thank you ALL very much for the time you put into our children. I do however believe that some improvements need to be made. 1. The drop-off is suppose to be at 7:30 every morning - most of the time the doors are not open at 7:30. It is extremely frustrating to have to wait for someone to show up then actually open the doors in a timely manner. If you post that 7:30 is drop-off then ask us not to leave our kids there, I feel like the doors need to be opened on time. 2. Also at drop-off, kids left outside waiting for the doors to open are running around cars, in the parking lot, throwing rocks, climbing the trees, pushing, shoving, cursing, and basically acting out-of-control. Feel like this needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt. 3. The language that the kids use during school hours is horrible. I have heard the cursing. 4. I don't think there is enough being done with the students that cause distractions on a daily basis. I'm not talking about the kids that have caused a problem occassionally, I am speaking of the ones that it is continuous. One reason we chose the school is so that our children would be in an environment where there is zero tolerance so that there learning would not be interrupted. I don't see the zero tolerance rule being used with these children that are constantly in trouble and distractions to others. I feel like if you are going to explain the zero tolerance rules at the beginning with the parent interview and put so much emphasis on it, then the children should be forced to abide by it. 5. I also feel like discipline or taking away priviledges should not be handed out as a group. It is usually the same children that ruin a priveledge or get a class in trouble. Taking a priveledge away as a group is unfortunate. You are teaching our children that even if they are making right choices, they will still receive the same punishment as if they made a bad choice. It is very frustrating to hear how much time during the day is spent redirecting the same students over and over again. Thanks you for your time.

It is amazing what a difference it makes when the administration and staff truely care about the success of each individual student. I love SST and would hate to send my kids anywhere else. The enviroment is welcoming and feels like achievement. My kids are not only excelling in academics, but are gaining life skills to build character. This is how I wish every school in America was ran.

This has been my son Johns' 3rd year at an SST School. I love the teachers and the smaller classes. I am very sad to hear that SST Alamo is not going to have a 9th grade class. I am now faced with making the decision of sending him back to SST at Nacogdoches or looking for a school that is closer to my home/work. I would rather send him to SST. The curriculum is better then anything offered by a public school not to mention the safety I feel having him at a smaller school (i.e. drugs, gamgs etc) He has to work harder at SST because he is no longer considered "the smartest kid in the class/school" When he was going to a Judson ISD elementary school he had to put forth very little effort because the academics was very undemanding. I hope to be able to send him to SST for the 9th grade. Thank you for asking me for my opinions.

We love SST Alamo! SST is a great environment for children who wants to be challenged. The learning environment is stress free allowing each student to reach their potential and enjoy learning. The classes are a reasonable size, allowing the teachers to know each of their students. Which allows the teachers to spend valued time with students. After a few months attending SST we saw a big difference in our childrens behavior towards learning. Thank you SST Team for everything you do! Meghan Bailey

From everything I've seen and experienced since my daughter started at SST-Alamo, I couldn't ask for a better school. She has been eager to go to school and excited about what she's done every day after school is out. My daughter had liked her old school very much, along with many of the teachers. However, she hasn't mentioned her old school once since starting at SST-Alamo. For a talkative young lady like my daughter, that's quite an achievement.

This a word of encouragement. Considering this being our first year, I want to personally thank all teachers and administration for a fine job! My family is very grateful for the care and concern that each of you have demonstrated. Again, thank you:)

I enjoyed your site and have heard wonderful things about your school. My son will start kindergarten this coming fall and I'm so very interested in checking out your school. You're wonderfully close to our home! Thank you so much for giving more options for education.

I have moved my daughter from JISD to SST-Alamo hoping for a more challenging learning experience for her. I look forward to seeing what new and exciting challenges await her at SST-Alamo Thanks for bringing this opportunity to my area!

Originally I didn't realize your school was so close to my house or that SST even had a school for elementary kids. We're concidering putting all our (5)kids in your school, but before I do... I wanted to make sure that I won't be taking away from what they do have at Windcrest Elementary and now this year SST San Antonio (such as GT classes and for my oldest the clubs and gym available to my oldest at SST San Antonio, are there any plans to address these issues in the future? I go to S.S.T. San Antonio. I am just welcoming you to our S.S.T. family. So... WELCOME!!! 11B S.S.T. class of 2011

i have to say this school sounds excellent

I am guessing you don't have any type of bus service or carpooling system of parents? We only have one car. We are all of six miles from the school. I know the opportunity would be great for my daughter.
